I'm creating a web mobile app with jQuery, javascript and HTML. My app generates an image (img HTML component) and I want to save it on the mobile device's photo album. Is that possible?

You can not - there is no standard for storing face data so there is no place to export it to - you can select the photos and export (file menu > export) a desktop folder then drag that folder ot a flash drive and mail the flash drive, checking the boxes to include location and title, keywords and description which will keep all the standard metadata - or you can export the unmodified originlal which will give you exactly what you imported

If you want to edit photos which are located in shared albums, then you can save those photos to Photos Library. To do so, you can import photos from a shared album into your Photos Library. Once you have imported photos to Photos Library, you can make edits, share the updated photos and add them to your albums and projects.

Here are the steps to Save Photos from Shared Albums to Photos Library:

  1. Open 'Photos' app on your Mac.
  2. Click 'Shared' button located at the toolbar.
  3. Double-click the shared album.
  4. Select the photos which you want to save.
  5. Control-click a selected photo and choose 'Import' option.
  6. You will see your imported photos in the 'Last Import' album.
  7. Click 'Albums' button.
  8. Double-click the 'Last Import' album to open it.
  9. Select the imported photos and click '+' icon located at the toolbar.
  10. Choose the album where you want to add the photos.
  11. This way you can save photos from shared albums to your Photos library.
