Following the recent ‘The Sims: Life Stories’ re-release, Aspyr has now re-released ‘The Sims: Castaway Stories’, released back in 2008 ‘Castaway Stories’ was the final title in the ‘Stories’ trilogy.

Like the renewed version of The Sims Life Stories, The Sims 2 Castaway Stories brings back all the same content from the original The Sims Castaway Stories while being fully updated to work on modern Mac hardware and OSes. And yes, the same new tweaks have been added to the game, including support for HD resolutions like 4k and Retina, a new renderer for improved performance, gesture support, and various bug fixes and tweaks.

In The Sims 2 Castaway Stories, you’ll “help your Sims build a life from scratch after washing ashore on a deserted tropical island.” And like modern survival crafting games, you’ll “build shelters, craft unique items, and discover many useful treasures and ancient mysteries hidden deep within a diverse jungle environment.”
