- All of the other apps are working properly, except for the Messages one. I tried removing the files from the Messages folder, and that worked a little bit, but it erased previous messages that I had. Also, I opened the MacBook again today, and the app stopped opening again, and it shows that the files are in the folder again.
- It is working correctly, but we noticed that often the app store does not show the 'update' button but the 'open' one instead. At the moment the process is very confusing because when the users press 'open' it goes back to the app but then the alert redirects them to the app store again to update the app.

Does the app launch properly when you start it the Applications Folder ?
If this is the case then the app may not be connected properly with the icon on the DOCK.

Click and Drag the icon off the DOCK
Click and drag the app to the DOCK - this does not really put the app on the DOCK but the OS recreates the Icon and the links to the app.
